The IJM is delighted to present an afternoon with Yanky Fachler of The Jewish Historical Society of Ireland. The talk will take place at the IJM Sunday, July 17th, 2016 at 4PM.
Even before the end of WW2, the Allies made plans to remove Nazi influence from German government and society. General Eisenhower predicted that denazification would take 50 years. In fact, the denazification process was pursued with decreasing intensity until it was finally abolished by the West German authorities in 1952.
Today’s talk looks at how effectively the aims of denazification were met, and explores the spill-over into modern German society.
Please, reserve your seat by emailing the IJM at firstname.lastname@example.org.
