Afternoon Talk with Yanky Fachler | Martin Luther and the Nazis | March 5th, 2017 @3pm

The IJM is delighted to present an afternoon with Yanky Fachler of The Jewish Historical Society of Ireland. The talk will take place at the IJM Sunday, March 5th, 2017 at 3PM.

Many Nazi leaders claimed that their ideas were influenced by Martin Luther. At the Nuremberg War Trials, Streicher declared that if he is guilty, Martin Luther should also be in the dock. In addition to the incendiary anti-Semitic language shared by Luther and the Nazi propaganda machine, there was another link between Luther and the Nazis.

In this talk, Yanky Fachler explores the bizarre Purim connection.

Please, reserve your seat by emailing the IJM at info@jewishmuseum.ie.
