Highlights from the Photographic Collection of the Irish Jewish Museum
The museum has chosen a selection of images from Jewish life in Ireland over the past 130 years to be presented in a narrated PowerPoint presentation. The images are taken from one of many albums in the collection currently being catalogued at the Irish Jewish Museum thanks to a grant from the Heritage Council Ireland.
The images depict certain aspects of Irish Jewish history and offer an insight into the community. The album is not intended as a chronological or comprehensive treatment of events but rather a glimpse into the unique cultural history of the Jews of Ireland.
This is part of a project to digitise the collection at the museum and make it more available through our new website.
