You know Alan Shatter as a politician, a lawyer, an author & chairperson of MDA Ireland. In conversation, he introduces you to unpublished short stories and poems written over the past two decades, his forthcoming book a comedic novel entitled Cyril’s Lottery of Life and the backdrop to his writings.
Alan Shatter is the author of four major works on Irish Family Law (1977, 1981, 1986, & 1997), Family Planning Irish Style (1979), a satire on past Irish Family Planning laws and Laura (Poolbeg, 1989) a best-selling novel. His two most recent best-selling books are biographies Life is a Funny Business (Poolbeg, 2017) and Frenzy & Betrayal (Merrion Press, 2019).
